The
Bear's Den Cabin Picturesque log cabin tucked away in a private wooded location. This beautiful cabin is new, yet offers all of the charm of cabins in days gone by. The cabin offers one level of living space with a large, open great room, dining room and kitchen. The great room has a corner fireplace and stairs leading to a spacious loft with a queen futon. All three bedrooms are on the main level. The master suite is spacious and features a king-size bed and private bath with an indoor whirlpool tub. Guest room #1 has a queen bed and Guest room #2 has a set of twins. There is a full bath located between the two guest rooms. The cabin is accessible to those in a wheelchair via a wooden ramp. Covered porches surround the front of the cabin, which is a perfect spot to rock away the day, enjoying the views of the lake and Chimney Rock. The cabin is tastefully decorated and furnished, and the style is reflected in the cabin's name "The Bear's Den." Wooden and stuffed bears along with other woodland creatures are found throughout the cabin. The beautifully locally crafted furniture adds just the right ambiance to make this a truly memorable vacation accommodation. The waterfront is a few hundred yards down the road to the lake, and although steep, it is within walking distance. The cabin shares a common waterfront and there is room to dock a boat. The Bear's Den is only a short six mile drive to the beach in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park. Area attractions

Park, the quaint downtown of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Bat Cave, Lake Lure
Beach and Fun Center, The Bottomless Pools, horseback riding, hiking,
stream & lake fishing, water skiing, boating, nearby river float trips,
